Understand there were old folks everywhere. We were the young ones. Everything was cheap. I bought some blood pressure meds to have extras for the Alaska trip and Maria had an eye exam and got two pairs of reading glasses all for under $100 bucks. She said the glasses were much better then the Costco cheaters.
So we had to wait for the glasses to be made so we did lunch at a Mexican place (Duh) that the eye doctor recommended (his cousins place lol). It was very good Mexican food. The two margaritas I had were kind of weak but hey it was cheap.
We made it thru customs. The officer asked what I was bringing back and I said blood pressure meds and glasses. He looked me up and down like yeah that fits and said have a nice day.
We came back to Yuma and met Robin Weckerly (retired SO Commander) and her brother in law Preston who are boondocking outside of Yuma. Dinner and another margarita which this one had the required amount of tequila.
They schooled us on our upcoming Alaska trip. They went last year with the same tour group and had a great time. We enjoy running into each other and hope to see them again down the road.
Looks like my buddy "Bob" might be gone. He told Maria when we got here that they were going to San Diego for either the weekend or week. I hope it's the week. He needs to get a life or go back to Canada and be unhappy there.
Friday is the "Crap Fair" I mean "Craft Fair" at the park. So I'll let you know all the treasures we find........
