We made it to Portland, Oregon today at about 2:00 PM. The drive was busy. I wanted to get through Seattle early to miss the traffic. Well no traffic in Seattle but Tacoma was stop and go for miles. But we made it.
Its hot (90°) and smoky here in Portland. Like California there are wildfires all over Oregon and Washington. They issued an air quality advisory. It's not as bad as it was in Fairbanks AK but close.
The RV park we are in is actually in Fairview which is east of Portland. We are next to train tracks with a train going by about every hour. Just like living next to Hwy 101.
