Maria pointed out we were fast approaching a crisis. We were down to our last roll of TP. That's it. Time to pack up and head home. We're out in the wild and cactus wouldn't cut it. Well it would sure poke it.
So Maria made a command decision. We're going to town. She didn't say which town though. So we drove into Q and she passed the Dollar Store (cheap TP there). Then we're W/B I 10. So I asked. Why are we headed west? She said the TP is cheaper in Blythe. Who am I to argue. Cheap is my middle name. I get a sneaking suspicion we're going somewhere else before picking up the critical supplies.
She finally stopped at my favorite Chinese Restaurant and said we're here. They sell TP here? Well no but they have excellent Chinese food. And cheap too. $13.07 for two lunch specials. If you're ever in Blythe or passing thru I highly recommend The China Garden Resturant. It's also Jungle Cat approved.
We finally got our critical supplies and yes I sprang for the "Ultra Strong"
I got a new wine glass. The bugs keep drinking my wine. After the second glass the bugs added flavor but they were getting stuck in my teeth.
Our last desert sunset for the season.
Up early tomorrow we're burning daylight back to the homestead.
