Smoky Mountains?

The smoke in Fairbanks is getting worse. Three fires in the area. No structures threatened. They have issued an air advisory and the smoke is even getting to me.

Today Maria got her hair conditioned and I walked over to the Harley Davidson dealer. I think I'd look good on a Hog. Just sitting on it not driving it.

Then at about 2:30 PM we were "resting" on the bed and the coach began to shake. I know what you're thinking, We were fully clothed and have been married 26 years.  Yes an earthquake.  5.8 magnitude north of Anchorage. No damage here. But we shook a bit.

We drove to North Pole, Alaska this afternoon to visit Santa's work shop. It is an actual town with a police department. Maria shopped and I looked for the big guy. But Santa was on his mandatory 10 minute break so we didn't get to speak to him. Some of our grand kids lucked out. You know which ones I'm talking about.......
