More Hiking and of Course Eating

We hiked Miles Canyon Saturday. 

We thought it was just dirt trails. Wrong, lots of climbing and rocks. 

Maria kept saying just go a little further?

The trail ran beside the Yukon River. It was beautiful and a good challenge. 

We both almost fell several times.  

But we survived. 

And we saw this eagle nested

 After a good hike we needed a good dinner. We went to the "Spike" recommended restaurant Klondike Ribs and Salmon. He wasn't wrong. The ribs and salmon were delicious.

Than sourdough bread pudding for dessert. Might have to go back for more bread pudding.

We leave Monday for Dawson City. Long drive 337 miles.
