The Tour started today. We went and visited a totem pole park and learned the history of the poles and the reasons for them. We are currently in the Gitxsam Nation.

This evening we had a "fest" put on by the Nation. Salomon, fry bread, potatoes , slaw, and fruit pie. It was outstanding. After dinner a Indian dance group from the Nation did a show for us. The kids were great.
We leave for Hyder, Alaska in the morning. They tell us we will not have Internet for next few days so no morepostings for awhile. We will see.
